ISLAMABAD : Prime Minister PM Shehbaz Sharif announced the creation of a new Army Rocket Force Command during Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations.
Speaking at the “Independence Day and Victory of the Battle of Haq” ceremony in Islamabad’s Jinnah Sports Complex, the PM stated the new force will be equipped with modern, long-range rocket systems capable of striking targets from any direction.
Sharif described the move as a major step to significantly boost Pakistan’s conventional military strength and deterrence capabilities.
