Armed forces greet nation on 78th Independence Day

Pakistan Armed Forces Pay Tribute to Captain Karnal Sher Khan on Martyrdom Anniversary

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s top military commanders have congratulated the nation on the country’s 78th Independence Day.

In a joint message released by the ISPR, Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu praised the nation’s unity and resilience.

The leaders paid tribute to founding father Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and all those who sacrificed for Pakistan’s freedom. They described their courage and vision as a continuing inspiration.

The Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty, uphold the Constitution, and defend national values. They emphasized the strong bond between the military and the people as key to Pakistan’s strength.

The commanders called on the nation to renew its dedication to peace, progress, and unity, guided by the principles of Faith, Unity, and Discipline, to build a prosperous Pakistan
