Floodwaters severely damage KP police infrastructure

PESHAWAR :Heavy floods have caused significant damage to police infrastructure in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to a detailed report released by the KP Police Department, numerous police stations, offices, and rest houses in various districts have been severely affected.

The library and investigation office at Mingora Police Station were flooded, damaging case properties, vehicles, and motorcycles. The ground floor and gate of the station also suffered damage.

Residences of senior police officials were also hit hard. Furniture and household goods were destroyed at DSP City’s residence, while DSP Saidu’s residence suffered damage to its boundary wall and belongings.

In Buner, Police Station Pirbaba was severely damaged, with its main gate, boundary wall, computer room, records, equipment, furniture, and CCTV system all affected.

The floods have left a trail of destruction across the province, with police infrastructure in Shangla district also suffering damage.
