PESHAWAR: Three robbers were injured during an encounter with the police force in DI Khan and arrested injured condition on Wednesday morning.
DSP City, along with his team, took immediate action on the information about the presence of unknown armed motorcyclists in the limits of the Cantt police station. The motorcyclists started firing on the police after seeing the police mobiles coming toward them.
As a result of the police retaliating, 03 robbers were arrested in an injured condition. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the robbers. According to DSP City Hamza Ali, the accused had come with the intention of robbery.
DPO Dera Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada congratulated DSP City Muhammad Adnan and the police team for taking prompt and excellent action. According to DPO Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada, the accused persons are part of a big robbery gang.
They were wanted to Dera Police in very important cases. Further investigation is underway with the accused. Police have intensified search operation in the area after firing with robbers.
