Gold prices soar in both local and global markets

The gold prices of 24 karat gold per tola decreased by Rs 1,100 on Tuesday, selling for Rs 356,600 compared to Rs 357,700 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold also fell by Rs 943, dropping to Rs 305,727 from Rs 306,670. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 865, decreasing to Rs 280,259 from Rs 281,124.

The rates for silver remained unchanged, with per tola priced at Rs 4,031 and 10 grams at Rs 3,455. In the international market, the price of gold declined by $11, settling at $3,339 from $3,350, while the price of silver held steady at $37.98, the Association reported.
