PESHAWAR: The Accountability Judge Ali Gohar on Thursday denied the bail applications of four accused in the Upper Kohistan financial scandal and handed them over to the NAB officers.
The accountability court judge heard the case, and after hearing the arguments, the court rejected the interim bail applications of the accused.
According to the NAB prosecutor, the accused Alamzeb, Shafiq Ali, Gul Rehman and Musharraf Shah are involved in the embezzlement of millions of rupees and money was withdrawn through their collusion.
He said the NAB had been continuing its investigation into the scandal, and further revelations were expected in the case.

After rejecting the bail applications by the judge, the court ordered the NAB to take the accused into custody from the courtroom, upon which the NAB arrested all of them and shifted them to the NAB detention.
