PESHAWAR: In a significant move to aid recovery efforts, businessman and Peshawar Zalmi Chairman Javed Afridi has announced a major initiative to provide jobs for the flood-affected people of Buner district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The initiative, in collaboration with Haier Pakistan, has allocated 100 specific job vacancies exclusively for individuals who have been impacted by the recent devastating floods in the region.
This is not the first time Javed Afridi has stepped forward to help. Previously, he had donated Rs. 10 million through the Zalmi Foundation to support relief efforts for flood victims.
The latest announcement focuses on long-term rehabilitation by offering sustainable employment opportunities to those who have lost their livelihoods due to the natural disaster.
