A devastating truck bomb explosion at a military base in Colombia has left at least five people dead and 36 others injured. The blast was of such intensity that it shattered windows in nearby buildings and caused significant damage to military installations.
Following the attack, security forces immediately sealed off the area and began an investigation. While no group has yet claimed responsibility for the bombing, officials suspect the involvement of rebel factions active within the country.
The injured were quickly transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
