PESHAWAR: Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahab Ali Shah confirmed the decision to purchase a new helicopter and said that helicopters are urgently needed for natural disasters and other tasks.
He said that after the helicopter crash in Mohmand, the government has only one helicopter left, so it has decided to purchase another helicopter.

According to official sources, all the crew members who died in the accident were contract employees. The pilots included Colonel (retd) Shahid Sultan and Aftab.
According to sources, the heirs of both pilots will be given a martyrs package equal to that of a Scale 19 police officer.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur said that the helicopter crew sacrificed their lives for others; they are our real heroes, and their sacrifice will be written in golden letters in history.
