PESHAWAR: Awami National Party Central President Aimal Wali Khan visited the cloudburst-affected area of Dalori and expressed condolences to the families of those who died in the tragedy.

He expressed full sympathy with the family and hoped that the government would declare Gadoon Dalori a calamity-hit area. He criticised the performance of NDMA and PDMA and said that they are only nominal organisations for usurping the funds of the public. He said that the government is irresponsible and not serious about countering the reasons behind the cloud burst.

He said that the provincial federal government have made a joke with the public, and the only welfare organisation are active in the field to assist the affected families. He said that the government should investigate the reason behind such disasters and must provide relief aid and heavy compensation to the affected families.

He expressed disappointment over the lack of facilities for the flood-affected people in Dalori, and he said that the tragedy of Swabi Gadoon is a very painful tragedy. He asked that the government take practical steps instead of announcements. Swabi.

He said that the federal government should also announce a huge compensation amount for the flood victims of Buner and Sawabi. He said that it is not a blessing for affected people to give them compensation, but it is their basic right.
