LAHORE: In the Jinnah House attack case, Aleema Khan’s son Sher Shah was presented in the Anti-Terrorism Court, where the court approved the five-day physical remand of the accused.
According to a private TV Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Manzar Ali Gul heard the case. The prosecution took the position that Sher Shah was present at the scene of the crime, where weapons were also used, and his presence is also proven in the video evidence. According to the prosecution, the recovery of the accused’s social media accounts is pending, so a thirty-day physical remand should be given.
The accused’s lawyer Salman Akram Raja informed the court that Sher Shah was arrested after 27 months, which is illegal. The lawyer said that the accused appeared in court yesterday with his brother, from where he was taken into custody. They argued that the court should reject the police’s request and discharge the accused.
After hearing the arguments of the parties, the court reserved the verdict and later approved a five-day physical remand, under which Sher Shah was handed over to the police for further investigation.
