Finance Minister Aurangzeb admits complications in Pak banking system

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has underscored Pakistan’s potential to export skilled labour to Saudi Arabia

Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb says that Pakistan’s banking system is complex compared to other countries.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb said that facilitating traders and investors is the government’s priority, the process of economic reforms is underway and the economy is moving towards improvement.

He said that Pakistan’s banking system is complex compared to other countries, the laws related to digital investment will also have to be improved. He said that steps are needed to make the banking process smooth and easy.

Muhammad Aurangzeb said that currently 10 to 15 percent of Pakistan’s people are benefiting from digital business, but in the future the trend of digital assets will increase, and transparency in digital investment will have to be ensured.

The Finance Minister said that crypto mining is also under consideration, a crypto council has been formed regarding crypto mining.

It must be noted here that 99% Pakistanis are not satisfied with the Banking system of the country and termed the system a means of looting the public and said that there is no privacy of customers in the Banking system of the country, while businessmen are not being encouraged to invest in the country’s development.
