Gold price in Pakistan sees massive rise per tola

Gold prices in Pakistan finally begin to decline, today's latest rates

KARACHI: After a brief dip a day earlier, gold prices recorded a major rise on Saturday both in Pakistan and internationally.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs4,100 per tola, reaching Rs359,800. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams jumped by Rs3,515, settling at Rs308,470.

On the global market, gold prices also moved upward, with the per ounce rate increasing by $41 to hit $3,371.

Silver prices mirrored the trend, as the cost of 24-karat silver climbed by Rs108 per tola to Rs4,121, while 10 grams rose to Rs3,533.
