BUNER: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has provided essential winter aid to communities in Pakistan affected by floods.

The agency distributed 500 shelter bags in the Buner district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This assistance will benefit an estimated 3,500 people. The effort is part of the third phase of KSrelief’s “Winter Aid Distribution Project 2025” for Pakistan, which plans to hand out more than 12,000 shelter bags across the country.

In a separate initiative, KSrelief is also running a major health campaign in Afghanistan. In collaboration with the Al-Bassar International Foundation, it has launched the “Saudi Noor Volunteer Program” in Kabul to combat blindness.

As part of this program, a volunteer medical team examined 472 patients and performed 48 successful eye surgeries. This campaign is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to provide critical medical volunteer services to combat blindness and related diseases around the world.
