PAK VS AFGH

A tri-nation T20 cricket series between Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) begins today, Friday, in Sharjah.

The tournament will kick off with a high-voltage opening match between arch-rivals Pakistan and Afghanistan at 7:00 PM local time.

Ahead of the first game, the three team captains—Salman Ali Agha of Pakistan, Rashid Khan of Afghanistan, and Mohammad Wasim of the UAE—unveiled the tournament trophy and participated in a photo session.

At a press conference, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha expressed confidence, stating his team is well-prepared and that he is not concerned with the opinions of former players about the current squad.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan’s captain, Rashid Khan, acknowledged that his team hasn’t played a T20 tournament in several months but promised a strong performance.

In this series, each team will play the other twice. The top two teams will then advance to the final, which is scheduled for September 7th.
