The tri-nation T20 series between Pakistan, Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates is starting today in Sharjah.
The first match of the series will be played between Pakistan and Afghanistan at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium at 7:00 pm local time. The captains of the three teams, Salman Ali Agha of Pakistan, Rashid Khan of Afghanistan and Mohammad Wasim of the UAE, participated in a joint photo shoot on the occasion of the unveiling of the trophy. In the press conference before the match, Pakistani captain Salman Ali Agha said that the team’s preparation is excellent and the players are fully determined. He expressed hope that the Green Shirts will perform well on the field.
Other matches of the series will also be played in Sharjah, which is expected to provide fans with rich cricket entertainment.
