Saim Ayub’s blazing 69 leads Pakistan to win over UAE

Second win puts Pakistan in strong Tri-Nation series position

The Pakistan cricket team continued its winning streak by defeating the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 31 runs in the second match of the tri-nation T20 series on Wednesday.

After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Pakistan set a formidable target of 207 runs for the host team. The innings was powered by a strong opening partnership from young batsmen Saim Ayub and Hassan Nawaz.

Saim Ayub was the top scorer with a dynamic 69 runs off just 36 balls, which included 7 fours and 4 sixes. His partner, Hassan Nawaz, provided strong support with a quick 56 runs. Valuable contributions from all-rounders like Muhammad Nawaz (25 runs) helped Pakistan post a large total.

In response, the UAE team fought hard but could only manage to score 176 runs before their innings ended. Asif Khan was the standout performer for the Emirates, scoring a resilient 77 runs. Captain Mohammad Wasem added 33 runs, but other batsmen failed to build significant partnerships.

Pakistan’s bowlers performed effectively to secure the win. Hasan Ali was the most successful, taking three crucial wickets. All-rounder Mohammad Nawaz supported him by taking two wickets.

This victory marks Pakistan’s second win in the series, having previously defeated Afghanistan by 39 runs. These consecutive wins place the Green Shirts in a strong position to win the tri-nation series.
