District Police Mardan has arrested a TikToker from the Parhoti police station area as part of an ongoing crackdown on those promoting indecent acts and immoral videos on social media.
According to the police spokesperson, the arrested person, identified as Khan Zeb, was found to be involved in disseminating immoral and objectionable content online.
The police have filed a case against him under cybercrime laws and other relevant provisions, with further investigations and legal actions currently underway.
This operation was conducted on the special instructions of District Police Chief Mr. Zahoor Babar Afridi, to uphold moral values in society and prevent the misuse of social media by the youth.
The District Police Mardan encourages the public to use social media responsibly and to report any suspicious or immoral activities to the nearest police station or cybercrime unit immediately.
