India has confirmed Pakistan’s participation in the upcoming Junior Hockey World Cup, scheduled for November 28 to December 10 in Chennai and Madurai.
The announcement was made by Hockey India Secretary General Bholanath Singh. This confirmation comes after Pakistan withdrew from the ongoing Asia Cup in Bihar, citing security concerns, which had raised doubts about their World Cup attendance.
An Indian official stated that the agreement was reached following discussions with the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF). Pakistan has been placed in Pool B alongside India, Chile, and Switzerland
