Heavy rain floods streets, power outage hits

PESHAWAR: The provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is experiencing heavy rain accompanied by strong winds, causing significant disruptions across the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, severe weather has led to a complete power outage in many areas.

According to the local sources, the intense rainfall has caused waterlogging in several neighborhoods, submerging streets and lanes, and water has started entering homes. The Meteorological Department has forecasted more rain and strong winds in the coming hours, urging citizens to take precautionary measures.

The district administration Authorities have advised residents to avoid unnecessary travel and remain in safe locations. The power outage has added to the difficulties faced by the public.
