BAJAUR: The earthquake was felt today, on Tuesday, in several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), including Dir, Bajaur, Upper Dir, Malakand, and Khyber.
According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake measured 5.4 on the Richter scale at a depth of 22 kilometres, with its epicentre located in southern Afghanistan.
No loss of life or property has been reported so far. Authorities have advised citizens to remain cautious due to the possibility of aftershocks. Rescue and relief agencies have been placed on alert, and district administrations are assessing the situation.
