PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur has admitted that his party is facing internal rifts over several issues. He said that founder Imran Khan wants to prevent any division within the party.
During a meeting in Peshawar, CM Gandapur expressed his frustration over criticism regarding the allocation of Senate election tickets within Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Gandapur denied any role in the senate ticket distribution and alleged that a drama was staged by some leaders to target him.
He said that the senate tickets were distributed purely on the Imran Khan’s directives, this is his party.
Regarding the meeting with PTI founder, CM Gandapur claimed that certain elements were deliberately preventing him from meeting Imran Khan, which is damaging the party’s unity and worsening internal rifts.
He further said that those who are stopping me from meeting Imran Khan are not our friends, they are enemies of the party, adding that the party is now in a state of turmoil.

Gandapur also pointed out that when Senate candidates’ names were announced by Imran Khan, many party members initially dismissed them as fake. However, when Khan later confirmed the nominations, none of the critics apologized.
