PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah said that Field Marshal Asim Munir will remain Army Chief until November 2027. Regarding the tenure of the Air Chief, Rana Sanaullah said that after the amendment in the law, there was no need for a new notification for the Air Chief and the day the Air Chief completes his term of service for 5 years, he will retire.
He said that there is an extension in the law in this regard, and it has been extended four times in the country, while some people have taken the extension themselves. Rana Sanaullah said that whatever decisions have been made will have the support of Nawaz Sharif.
He said that the current assembly will complete its term by 2029, and the work that the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is engaged in cannot be done. Rana Sanaullah said that if the founder wants to do politics in jail or outside, then we have an offer for talks.
Rana Sanaullah said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has talked about the stability of Pakistan, while the founder of PTI wants a civil war. Should they let it happen?
He said that on May 9, PTI was not a political protest but an attempt at a civil war. He said that there is no talk of creating new provinces; however, a change in the NFC award is being considered. The federation is in financial difficulty, while the provinces have the capacity, and efforts will be made to resolve the matter by consensus.
