Dr Fasihuddin PSP Calls on Federal Secretary of Education

ISLAMABAD: The President Pakistan Society of Criminology and the Founder Research Library in Peshawar called on Mr Nadeem Mehboob, Federal Secretary for Education, and Acting Chairman of HEC, Government of Pakistan, on Thursday.

They discussed issues relating to higher education and new initiatives for financial stability in educational institutions in Pakistan. Dr Fasihuddin Ashraf lauded the creative vision of the Federal Secretary of Education for promotion of the discipline of science and technology and empirical research in social sciences in Pakistan.

Mr Nadeem Mehboob is known as one of the most competent, honest and committed senior bureaucrats in the civil service of Pakistan. Previously, he worked as Federal Secretary for Health and provided excellent services to the Pakistani community, especially during the crucial years of the COVID-19 resurgence and Polio Eradication.

His role and leadership in successful Polio vaccination have earned him a brilliant and prestigious fame in the international community. Mr Nadeem Mehboob is currently introducing effective and meaningful reforms in education through scientific innovations, new teaching methodologies, a fair and merit-based evaluation system, and conducting publication of original research in Pakistani universities.

Mr Nadeem Mehboob also appreciated the services of Dr Fasihuddin Ashraf to Urdu literature, the scientific study of crimes and promoting book culture in the Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
