KP government announces head money for terrorists

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Wednesday set a price for the heads of four commanders of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), with Commander Kazim carrying the highest price of Rs 100 million.
According to details commander Kazim, who hails from Began village in Kurram district, has a price tag ten times higher than that of other commanders Mufti Noor Wali Mehsud, Khalid Khorasani and Shahid Umar.

The government has made Kazim’s arrest or elimination a top priority and has called the move part of its tough policy.
Government sources say the decision reflects tough measures against terrorism, under which rewards have been announced for the capture of wanted individuals.
