Earthquake jolts various districts of KP

5.3 magnitude earthquake shakes Punjab, KP

PESHAWAR: Earthquake was felt in several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday, causing panic among residents.

According to the seismic monitoring center, the earthquake measured 4.9 in magnitude at a depth of 10 kilometers. Its epicenter was located near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border region.

The tremors were strongly felt in Bajaur, Swat, and other districts of the Malakand division.

No immediate reports of casualties or property damage have been received. Local administration said it is monitoring the situation closely.
