BANNU: District Administration Bannu district has seized 450 bags of wheat from a local dealer as part of a crackdown launched against the hoarding.
According to details, Additional Assistant Commissioner led the operation, resulted in the immediate arrest of the dealer. Officials confirmed that the seized wheat stock was not recorded in any official registers, indicating an intent to hoard the essential commodity illegally.
The crackdown was launched against the hoarders of key food items, including flour, amid rising concerns over artificial price inflation.
