JALALPUR, Pirwala: At least four persons, including two children, drowned in floodwaters in the Obara Khalilabad settlement of Jalalpur Pirwala.
According to reports, rescue team recovered the body of 15-year-old Fatima. Thirty-year-old Qari Abdullah was rescued alive, while search operations continue for 15-year-old Muhammad Abdullah and 25-year-old Luqman, who remain missing.
The family members claimed that while evacuating their homes under their own efforts to reach safer places, the water levels unexpectedly rose, causing the children and youth to drown.

They also expressed frustration, claiming that despite multiple calls to rescue teams and authorities, no assistance has yet arrived. Search efforts are ongoing to find the missing individuals.
