China denounces US decision to add 32 entities to trade sanctions list

Reacting strongly over the bane on some trade entities, Spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that US actions violate international law and basic principles of international relations.

The US has added 32 entities to the trade sanctions list, which China has strongly condemned.

The US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on 32 individuals and entities that support the Houthis in fundraising, smuggling and attack operations.

According to the news agency, 23 entities under sanctions belong to China. Institutions from India, Iran, Turkey and the UAE are also on the list.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the US actions violate international law and basic principles of international relations.

On the other hand, the US Treasury Department called on the Group of Seven and European Union allies to impose meaningful tariffs on Chinese and Indian trade to stop purchases of Russian oil.
