PESHAWAR: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar has declared the results of the 11th-grade examinations, recording a low success rate of 44 percent.
According to the board, a total of 66,695 students appeared in the exams. Out of these, 29,487 passed, while 37,208 students failed in various subjects.
The board confirmed that 56 percent of candidates will reappear in the second annual exams.
However, under promotion policy, failed students will still advance to 12th grade to ensure continuity of education.
