Asia Cup 2025: Pakistan vs India clash set for today

DUBAI: Arch-rivals Pakistan and India are set to face off today in the Asia Cup T20 at the Dubai International Stadium, marking their second meeting in six months after the Champions Trophy encounter.

Both sides enter the match in strong form. India recently defeated the UAE by nine wickets, while Pakistan overcame Afghanistan and UAE to win a triangular series.

The high-profile contest will be played in hot conditions, with temperatures expected to remain around 33°C after sunset.

According to Asia Cup records, Pakistan and India have met 19 times, with India winning 10 and Pakistan 6. Pakistan last beat India in the tournament in 2022.

India has claimed the Asia Cup title eight times, while Pakistan has lifted the trophy twice. Ticket prices for the clash have soared, ranging from Rs40,000 to as high as Rs1.3 million.
