In a successful operation led by Khyber Bara Police, drugs worth millions of rupees were recovered, and a smuggler was arrested. The Khyber police in a press release claimed that on the directives of District Police Officer Rai Mazhar Iqbal, a suspicious tractor loader was stopped in the Barkambar Khel area. During the search, police recovered 125 kg of opium and 200 kg of hashish hidden in the vehicle. The accused, Iqbal Khan, was arrested and transferred for further investigation.
DPO Rai Mazhar Iqbal praised the police team and emphasized the ongoing crackdown against drug dealers to protect the youth. He stated, “The police are committed to eradicating the drug menace, and operations will continue without discrimination.”
Peshawar Police Arrest Two Women in Drug Bust

In a separate operation in Peshawar, Faqirabad Police, under the supervision of DSP Omar Afridi and SHO Rizwan Barki, arrested two women involved in drug trafficking. The suspects, identified as Mismat (B) and Mismat (F), had rented a house in Bashirabad for their illegal activities. During the raid, 10 kg of hashish was recovered. Both women have prior arrests in drug-related cases, including in Faisalabad and Peshawar. A case has been registered, and investigations are underway.
