PESHAWAR: Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, held a meeting with Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Chairperson Rubina Khalid in Peshawar to discuss initiatives aimed at providing financial assistance to the underprivileged communities in the province. During the meeting, Rubina Khalid briefed the governor on the various programs being implemented under BISP in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She highlighted that proposals to enhance transparency in the financial aid and sponsorship mechanisms are currently under review.
Governor Kundi praised the positive impact of BISP on women’s empowerment, children’s education, and the health sector. He emphasized the need to establish model BISP offices across the country to further streamline and expand the program’s reach.
