PESHAWAR: Peshawar  Commissioner Riaz Khan Mehsud chaired a meeting on Friday, directing an anti-encroachment operation along Nasir Bagh Road in Peshawar to facilitate uninterrupted traffic flow. The meeting saw participation from officials of the highway authority, Peshawar Development Authority, Khyber district administration, and the irrigation department.

The session concluded with the decision to initiate a comprehensive anti-encroachment drive on Nasir Bagh Road, with a mandate for the concerned departments to submit a detailed report within 48 hours. The operation aims to clear the area of all obstacles by March 30, coinciding with the completion of the Northern Bypass. Officials highlighted the necessity of this operation, anticipating a significant increase in traffic on Nasir Bagh Road following the inauguration of the Northern Bypass.
