ABBOTTABAD: A young man was stabbed to death by a watchman of the private housing society after the exchange of arguments here on Saturday evening.
A tragic incident unfolded in the Seri Ganri Btanra area of Abbottabad Union Council, where a local youth lost his life following a violent clash with a watchman employed by a private housing society.
The confrontation escalated into a deadly altercation, resulting in the murder of the young man. Identified as Imran, son of Sufi Arbab, the victim succumbed to multiple knife wounds inflicted by the watchman during the dispute.
Upon receiving the report, DSP Galiyat, along with a police team, promptly arrived at the scene to investigate the matter. Rescue 1122 personnel also reached the location and transported the victim’s body to DHQ Hospital Abbottabad for a postmortem examination.
The incident has sparked outrage among local residents, who have staged strong protests against the watchman and the owners of the private housing society. The community is demanding the immediate arrest of the perpetrator and justice for the slain youth.
