RAWALPINDI: New Zealand has won the toss and decided to field first against Bangladesh in the group A match in the ICC Champions Trophy here at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Monday.
New Zealand, which started their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign with an excellent start by beating the hosts Pakistan in the mega tournament opener match, will have an eye on a semifinal spot by beating Bangladesh.
Skipper Mitchell Santner said it toss that New Zealand trained on a different ground and there it was very very dewy. Two changes: Jamieson in for Smith and Mitchell is out with illness, which makes room for Ravindra.
New Zealnd made two changes in their lineup. Mitchell Santner said that Kyle Jamieson in for Nathan Smith, and injured Ravindra into the middle order for an unwell Daryl Mitchell. “Looks like a very good wicket, can get better to bat on,” Santner says.
