PESHAWAR: Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Tourism, Culture, Archaeology and Museums Zahid Chanzeb visited the hospital to see the famous Pashto comedian Mirawas Khan. He inquired about Mirawas’ well-being and provided him with a check of Rs. 500,000 as financial assistance.
Zahid Chanzeb prayed for the artist’s speedy recovery on this occasion and assured all possible support to his family. He said that the artists of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are a valuable asset to our culture, and the government is taking serious steps for their welfare.
The Advisor to the Minister of Culture further said that on the directions of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, the establishment of an endowment fund for artists is being started soon, under which the artists of the province will be provided with support permanently.
