RAWALPINDI: In a decisive intelligence-based operation, Pakistani security forces neutralized ten Khwarij terrorists in the general area of Bagh, Khyber District on Monday night.
According to an ISPR press release, the operation was launched following credible intelligence about the presence of Khwarij in the region. “On the night of 23/24 February 2025, Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Bagh, Khyber District. During the operation, troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, resulting in ten Khwarij being eliminated,” the statement read.
Following the successful operation, a thorough sanitization process is now underway to ensure the area is cleared of any remaining terrorists. The Security Forces have reiterated their unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism from Pakistan, emphasizing that such operations are a critical part of their strategy to ensure national security and peace.
This operation underscores Pakistan’s continued efforts to combat terrorism and protect its citizens from extremist threats.
