ABBOTTABAD — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police (IGP) Zulfikar Hameed, addressing the Hazara Police Command in Abbottabad, declared that restoring peace in the province is his mission and praised the bravery of the provincial police force.
IGP Hameed highlighted the challenges faced by the police, stating that despite limited resources, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police not only confronted terrorists but also succeeded in defeating them.
He emphasized the need for public confidence and urged the youth to actively participate in community policing efforts to combat terrorism and petty crime.

Describing police duty as a form of worship, Hameed called on young officers to meet public expectations and perform their responsibilities with dedication. He also stressed the importance of utilizing all available resources to enhance the police force’s capacity and effectiveness.
