Champions Trophy: Afghanistan opt to bat first against England

LAHORE: Afghanistan has won the toss and decided to bat first against England in the eighth match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 here at the Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday.

Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi confirmed at the toss that their lineup is unchanged.

England skipper Jos Buttler said that he made one change on his lineup. They brought Jamie Overton into XI squad as a seam-bowling allrounder.
