PESHAWAR: Romanian Ambassador to Pakistan Dan Stovanescu called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi here at Governor House on Wednesday.
During the meeting, they discussed means of enhancing bilateral and people-to-people relations.
The meeting also discussed matters of mutual interest and ways to further strengthen bilateral relations and find more opportunities for cooperation.
The meeting also discussed the need for exchanges of trade delegations and investment opportunities between Romania and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
On this occasion, Faisal Karim Kundi said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a rich province in natural resources.
The governor said that there are vast opportunities for investment in natural resources, including tourism, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for countries around the world, including Romania.
“We are eager to promote close relations between the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Romania,” said Faisal Karim Kundi.
Romanian Ambassador expressed commitment to further strengthen people-to-people contacts and diplomatic relations and play his role in strengthening partnerships.
