Opposition rejects Arbab Niaz Stadium's renaming

PESHAWAR: Opposition parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) jointly criticized the PTI-led government’s decision to rename the historic Arbab Niaz Stadium after its party founder during a press conference.

The opposition expressed strong reservations and demanded that the government reverse its decision.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former minister Arbab Alamgir questioned the government’s rationale for the name change.
