PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has prepared an internal report on the poor show in Swabi on February 28, revealing the disappointing performance of the senior leaders.
The report, sent to the provincial party president Junaid Akbar, stated that senior leaders Ali Muhammad Khan and Atif Khan completely failed to bring workers to Swabi Jalsa. PTI had held a jalsa in Swabi on February 8 to observe black day against last year’s general elections on its first anniversary.
The report said MNA Ali Muhammad Khan failed to bring workers to the rally.
PTI Mardan General Secretary informed the provincial president that Ali Muhammad Khan failed to bring workers to the rally. MNA Mujahid Khan and Senator Zeeshan Khanzada also arrived alone.
In contrast, MNA Atif Khan and Food Minister Zahir Shah led over 1,500 workers. Health Advisor Ehtesham Ali brought only 300 supporters.

PTI Mardan General Secretary Ayaz Safi confirmed the report’s authenticity. He stated that it accurately reflects each leader’s performance. He clarified that Ali Muhammad Khan did not bring his workers but led the convoys of others.

PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Junaid Akbar said the reports will be presented to the party’s founding leadership to shape future strategies.
