ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted a two-day spell of rain in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and various parts of the country starting from Sunday.
There is a likelihood of landslides in the hilly regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir during this period.
Hailstorms are also expected in isolated areas of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Islamabad, and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) of Punjab has alerted the District Administration and relevant departments, including WASA, Rescue 1122, Irrigation, and Livestock.
Citizens are advised to avoid unnecessary travel during adverse weather conditions.
Furthermore, in case of emergencies, citizens can contact the PDMA Helpline at 1129.
