PESHAWAR: Former Member of the National Assembly (MNA) and senior politician Malak Saeed Ahmad passed away last evening in his native town of Dubair Kohistan Lower.
According to his grandson, “Baba breathed his last, and his funeral will be held today, Monday, at 2 PM in Dubair Kass, Lower Kohistan.”
Malak Saeed Ahmad was a prominent figure in Kohistan’s political landscape. Former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto (late) frequently acknowledged his significant contributions to Kohistan and his dedication to the region’s development.
Mr Ahmad had been suffering from a chronic illness for several years before he passed away on Sunday evening. His sons are now actively involved in Kohistan’s politics, continuing his legacy.
