ISLAMABAD: Including Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Chairman Senate, Yousaf Raza Gilani, federal ministers, chief minister KP, politicians and civil society widely condemned the Bannu bombings which reportedly claimed 9 lives of women and children.
In their separate statements, the country’s rulers, MPAs elected from Bannu and civil society members, condemned the cowardly attack on Bannu Cantt here on Tuesday evening when people were preparing for Iftar.

He said was deeply saddened by the loss of innocent and precious lives in the Bannu attack.
Federal Minister and President PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engineer Amir Muqam paid tribute to the security forces for foiling the attack on Bannu Cantt.
He expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of innocent civilians in the terrorist attack.
“As an elected representative of the Bannu community and a citizen, I strongly condemn the cowardly attack that took place in Bannu today during the Iftar time,” Says Pakhtoon Yar, MPA from Bannu.
He said in this cowardly attack during the Iftar period, women, children, worshippers and those opening the fast were martyred.
“We strongly condemn it. We have faced such attacks before and will continue to do so.. He continued.
