Security forces arrest four Afghan terrorists near the Pak-Afghan border

QUETTA: Security forces carried out a successful operation near the Pak-Afghan border in Toba Kakri on March 5 and arrested four Afghan terrorists.

During the interrogations, the arrested terrorists confessed to planning a major attack. One of them, identified as Asamuddin, admitted to infiltrating Pakistan from Afghanistan three days ago. “We crossed the border fence at night,” he revealed in his statement.

Authorities recovered Kalashnikovs, grenades, and other weapons from them.

Security sources confirm that Afghan terrorists are increasingly involved in attacks inside Pakistan. They accuse the Afghan Taliban of sheltering and supporting various terrorist organisations.

This is not the first time Afghan militants have been caught. In past operations, security forces have eliminated several Afghan terrorists, including Badruddin, son of the governor of Baghdis province, and Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, a commander at the Hazrat Muaz bin Jabal National Military Academy.

Local residents played a crucial role in this latest operation. Defence experts commend their efforts and stress the need for urgent international action against terrorist sanctuaries in Afghanistan.

Despite repeated warnings and solid evidence from Pakistan, the Afghan interim government remains silent. Experts believe this silence signals indirect support for terrorism.
