PESHAWAR: Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) has increased the transfer fee for residential and commercial plots and has also imposed other new charges on residents.
According to a notification issued by the authority, the transfer fee for a three-marla residential plot has been increased from Rs 11,250 to Rs 22,500.
The fee for plots of five to seven marla has been increased from Rs 31,500 to Rs 63,000.
While the fee for plots up to two kanals has been increased from Rs 156,000 to Rs 312,000. Similarly, the transfer fee for a one-kanal plot has been increased from Rs 600,000 to Rs 1.2 million.
The transfer fee for commercial plots has also been increased, under which the fee for shops has been increased from Rs 300 per square foot to Rs 600 per square foot.
Additionally, the PDA has imposed charges for parks and playgrounds, charging residents up to Rs 1,000 per month, as well as street light charges.
