Pervez Khattak’s Leadership Key to KP’s Political Moves, Says Sanaullah

Rana Sanaullah, the political advisor to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, has alleged that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is preparing to launch an attack on Islamabad, suggesting that former Chief Minister Pervez Khattak’s leadership might be instrumental in this move. Speaking on a private TV channel, Sanaullah emphasized Khattak’s influence in KP, stating that he could play a significant role in the region’s political dynamics.

Sanaullah expressed concern over the KP government’s alleged focus on organizing protests against Islamabad instead of prioritizing development projects. He revealed that plans for such actions are reportedly being revived after Eid. While acknowledging Khattak’s potential to positively impact KP’s political landscape, Sanaullah also noted that questions surround Khattak’s involvement, hinting at possible complexities in his role.

Regarding the federal government, Sanaullah clarified that it operates as a coalition, with no exclusive claim by the PML-N. He highlighted the PPP’s active participation in government consultations and mentioned Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s intention to expand the cabinet after 100 days.

In a separate remark, Sanaullah commented on former US President Donald Trump, dismissing rumors of significant developments in the US and noting the unpredictability of Trump’s statements. He also attributed the government’s growing confidence to improvements in the economy and acknowledged the challenges of communicating with individuals in Adiala Jail.
