Four killed, nine injured as continues rain wreak havoc across KP

PESHAWAR: Widespread rain, gusty winds, and snowfall over hilly areas are expected in parts of Pakistan starting today.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a shallow westerly wave is likely to enter the upper regions of the country on the evening or night of March 9. This system is expected to strengthen by March 12 and persist until March 16.

Under its influence, intermittent widespread rain, strong winds, and snowfall in hilly areas are anticipated across various parts of Pakistan from March 9 to March 16.

Heavy rain, gusty winds, and snowfall are expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Battagram, Buner, Kurram, Bajaur, Mohmand, Orakzai, Murree, Galliyat, Gilgit-Baltistan (Diamer, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ghanche, Shigar), and Kashmir (Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, Mirpur) from the evening or night of March 9 until March 16, with occasional breaks.
